Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

A journey that will take you on the path of salvation; a journey that will take you on a quest for Moksha. Witness the grace of Garhwal ranges and mystical rivers from a bird's eye view in a wonderful helicopter ride. These Char Dham - Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri of Uttarakhand are some of the most important pilgrimages in India which takes you on a trail of divinity.

Every one of these Dhams holds a legend and is devoted to a specific deity. Yamunotri being the seat of the Goddess Yamuna is dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna who goes along the pilgrims to the high altitudes of the picturesque Rawai Valley. Gangotri is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga. The shrine overlooks the River Bhagirathi, another name of River Ganga. According to the legend, Goddess Ganga took the form of the river to cleanse the ashes and liberate the souls of King Bhagiratha’s predecessors. Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also a part of the Panch Kedar. It is the northernmost Jyotirlinga and is close to the source of the holy river Mandakini. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is situated on the bank of the River Alaknanda. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here while his consort Lakshmi took the form of a berry (Badri) tree to offer him shade.

Yamunotri:
On the first day, pilgrims will be taken from the hotel at Dehradun to the Kharsali Helipad near Yamunotri Temple. You will have to cover the 6 km stretch from Kharsali Helipad to the temple through a Palki or a pony. Once you complete your darshan, you will be taken back to Kharsali for overnight stay and sightseeing.

Gangotri:
On the second day, after breakfast and relaxation, pilgrims will be flown from the Kharsali Helipad to Harsil Helipad near Gangotri. From here, all arrangements have been made from VIP travel and Darshan. You will enjoy the 22km long forest stretch to the Gangotri. You will get to witness many beautiful natural sights in this stretch. The commute by car will therefore be enjoyable. After the darshan on the second day, you will enjoy an overnight stay at Harsil. This is the time when you can take some picturesque selfies.

Kedarnath:
On the third day of the Chardham Yatra, you will be flown from Harsil Helipad to Sirsi Helipad located close to Kedarnath. The temple is located just above 500 metres from the Sirsi Helipad. The pilgrims can travel this distance by foot under the guidance of the Panditji. Your overnight stay has been arranged in Guptkashi at the banks of the river Mandakani.

Badrinath:
Day four is a visit to Badrinath - The final destination in the Chardham package is Badrinath Temple. You will be transported from the Sirsi Helipad to the Badrinath Helipad. You can take darshan and then stay at Badrinath for Swarna Aarti. The dinner and overnight stay for the fourth day is also arranged at Badrinath.
